We rely on fundraising for the operation of the school, salaries for the teachers and director, and maintenance for the grounds and facilities. These efforts help to maintain our low tuition rates. Every family is essential in the success of our fundraising efforts throughout the year. Some of the events and fundraising opportunities organized by the Fundraising Committee are listed below.

Building a community and Fostering Connection with Our Broader Neighborhood.
Every Steele Cooperative family agrees to actively participate in our Steele-A-Deal event and auction, meeting or exceeding fundraising obligations through Steele-A-Deal auction donations, raffle ticket sales, and attending the event.
We also host parent socials and fundraising events throughout the year. These are fun events for parents and friends to get out and socialize all while supporting our school! Steele families, alumni, friends and neighbors are all welcome!

Engraved Bricks
The generosity of alumni and current Steele families are the reason we have our school. We want to perpetually reflect on the history of those who have paved the way. We will maintain streetscape as a place for families to gather, park bikes and strollers, and to hang out before/after classes. All funds from our path will contribute to maintaining our building and grounds. This fundraising effort focuses on the future of our cooperative, and helps us to recognize our past.

Engraved Brick Order Completion
Once your donation is received, a confirmation letter and receipt will be emailed to you to verify the accuracy of your message.
Bricks will be installed 4-5 weeks following your purchase, and we will let all of those participating know of the installation. As bricks will be placed randomly, we cannot guarantee special positioning.

From time to time we will have Steele themed merchandise for sale as a way to raise funding for our school. You may order this merchandise at Steele. Talk to a Steele board member or teacher for more details.
