About the School

Steele Cooperative Preschool was founded in 1982 by a group of parents interested in developing a cooperative preschool program for our children, ages two through five. Since our inception, we have operated continuously at our present location, 3441 West 39th Avenue, Denver, Colorado. Steele Cooperative Preschool is an operating program of the Robert W. Steele Social Center, Inc. and works in conjunction with the Steele Center Board.

Steele has been awarded a perfect 4 star rating from Qualistar Early Learning, a statewide non-profit organization working to improve the quality of early childhood education in Colorado! Learn more about Qualistar and our great accomplishment!
