Steele Cooperative Preschool is operated by a team of dedicated individuals posessing a passion to create the best possible environment in which their children can grow and learn. To accomplish this goal the school is operated under a state licensed director and state-qualified teachers. Steele Cooperative Preschool is proud of the experience, skill, commitment and joy that our team of teachers bring to the school community.
About the School
Steele Cooperative Preschool was founded in 1982 by a group of parents interested in developing a cooperative preschool program for our children, ages two through five. Since our inception, we have operated continuously at our present location, 3441 West 39th Avenue, Denver, Colorado. Steele Cooperative Preschool is an operating program of the Robert W. Steele Social Center, Inc. and works in conjunction with the Steele Center Board.

Teacher/Director Anne
For Teacher Anne teaching is a life-long calling. Anne has her bachelor's degree in preschool education and has 35+ years experience with young children and their families. She has been director certified by the State of Colorado since the 1970's, Anne lives in Wheat Ridge with her husband Jeff and their boxers.
Teacher Lorelei
Teacher Lorelei Schull received a Elementary Education Certificate from the University of Colorado-Boulder, as well as a BA in History. Lorelei's experience includes teaching for the past seven years at Steele and teaching kindergarten and 1st grades for three years. Lorelei and her husband are the proud parents of four children, all of whom are Steele graduates.
Teacher Sarah
Teacher Sarah Havey graduated from Metro State with a degree in English with an emphasis in Education. She completed a Teaching Education Program through the Archdiocese of Denver and holds a current Colorado Teachers License. In addition to teaching five years of fifth grade and four years of preschool in Denver, Sarah also teaches theater and art at the Arvada Center. She is the proud mama of Finn, Violet and Daisy.
